On average, manufacturing companies spend $62.75 billion dollars a year on pet toys. Pet toys can help in many ways, such as, helping with their dental, preventing boredom, and it helps keep the animal active, which improves their bones, muscles, and organs.

Pets have a lot of health benefits. They can improve the overall health of the heart. Also, pet owners tend to have decreased blood pressure and cholesterol. Pets can also decrease the chance of allergies in infants. If a newborn is brought home and there is a dog living in the home, it will improve their immune system. Pets are very important because they improve our health and living style.

In our households, pets are very important. Pets have made our lives better because they make us extremely happy whenever we see them. We feel that if we didn’t have our pets then our families wouldn’t be complete. Our pets can be unique sometimes and they can provide an abundance of entertainment for our families and friends. Coco the cat wrestles with other animals. Chloe the dog throws her tennis ball to herself when no one will play with her.

One requirement is to code a five page website about our love for pets. Michigan Council of Women in Technology is an organization to get more women into the technology world, as there are only a few. We are both excited to be a part of this competition.
