“What a beautiful world it would be if people had hearts like dogs”-Anonymous. Dogs and just pets in general, are so much more innocent than human beings. They are more obedient and loyal companions. Most humans tend to be more stubborn. When you ask them to do something, some of them complain or refuse, whereas most pets listen immediately. This is because of pets historical background and genetic build up. Last year, sixty-five percent of U.S. households owned a pet. This fact is important to our society because studies have shown that people who have a pet in their household are happier people. We believe this is so because pets are like furry friends; they’re always there when you need them.

We are sharing our website with the Michigan Council of Women in Technology Foundation, MCWT for short. Every year the MCWT hold a web designing contest for high school teenage girls, and every year they pick a different category. This year’s category is love those pets; we are required to make a five page website to qualify for the contest. The website was created using many different things such as Photoshop, Notepad++, and bubbl.us to help us. These are just a few of the elements we used to help with our website.

A pet is a domesticated or tamed animal kept primarily for a person's comfort, company, or protection. Pets are important because they are there when people are not. They also give humans a sense of security that other humans cannot provide.

Pets have always been important in our households. There have been multiple pets in and out of houses since we were little. We have had multiple dogs, hamsters, and fish. Angela has had two dogs, two gerbils, and a fish.While I, Mackenzie, have had two dogs, one hamster, and too many fish to count. In our families, we treat pets as another child. Therefore, pets are extremely important in our lives.

Our website will explain to you what we think the world would be like if humans acted like pets, a play on the new movie Secret Life of Pets. We will do this by explaining how humans would do things on three different pages. The first page will explain how we would take showers, and take care of ourselves. The second page will explain the different places we go to and how we would act. The third page will explain how humans would act around other people if they acted like dogs. We hope you enjoy our website, because we really enjoyed creating it.
