Communication is a vital part of our lives now. However, we are becoming more attached to our cellphones (our choice of communication) and brush it off with an excuse like,
"My mom has to call me."
"I'm waiting for an important phone call."
"How will I call ______ if it's an emergency?"

We can communicate dates to meet up with one another via telephone or face-to-face, mail relatives that are overseas, and simply enjoy hanging out in person. Without our digital devices to distract us from one another, we can enjoy more heartfelt moments and have more fun. During this week without digital technology, we can turn to previous forms of communication. Landline telephones, letters, hanging out face-to-face.
They may be oldies but they're goodies.
