Not only would I use my time to learn myself, but I would also use my time to help others to show them that they can gain knowledge without depending on technology. Teaching is a passion of mine, and I would love to spend more time doing it.
Giving Live Tutorials
Even though I’m not that old, I’m honestly shocked by how dependent kids are on technology these days. Almost everyone has either a phone or a tablet from a very young age, and they can’t live without them. However, I want to show kids that they can still have fun without looking at some kind of screen. I would show them new things like learning to make homemade slime or clay and learning to crochet. Below is a video of me showing how to do one crochet stitch.
Tutoring
One of my passions is teaching, and without technology to keep me busy, I would spend more time helping others out by tutoring them in subjects like chemistry, algebra, and writing essays. As a part of the National Honor Society, I would also participate in their tutoring events for kids of any age.
