My Week Without Digital Technology

      Current entertainment changes so much when digital technology is no longer available. For most kids my age, the most popular sources of entertainment are Netflix, YouTube, or social media. Even for those who don't use Instagram or Twitter daily, ways of entertainment can change in more ways than one.

Vinyl record collection

      To start, the way I listen to music (one of my favorite pass times) has changed. I would mostly use my phone and use either Apple Music or Spotify to listen to music. Now, I listen to music on CDs or vinyl records. Collecting vinyls has become a recent hobby of mine, and it makes listening to music all the more fun. It's still disappointing that I can't listen to music on the go from my phone, but the warmth and the crackles that you hear when listening to an old record is something you can't hear anywhere else.

Of course, some of these hobbies can become easier with online research and help, but sometimes learning on your own can be even more beneficial and self-rewarding.
