1950's vs 2020
Technology
Computers, iPads, and iPhones were not invented in 1950's. Only radios and wire/rotary phones were available in India my Grandma's birth place. (FUN FACT: The first wireless remote control for television was invented in 1955 in USA). It would cost 10 cents to use a rotary phone once to call someone; also, back then, radios would have only one channel on and you could not switch between channels. During the 1980s, India had box television sets with two wires (antenna) sticking out of the top and if the TV displayed static, you would have to move the antenna slightly to make it work.
