In my Grandparents' era there were many things children would like doing in their free time like we do today. Girls liked to play with dolls, like many do today! Children loved to cycle around, play pretend, play badminton, build forts etc. There was more use of wooden toys as plastic was less common. Today's era children have more exposure to screen time and entertainment is more centered towards digital technology such as phone, television, iPad, XBox etc.
