My name is Josslyn Giacona and I am an 8th grader at Jefferson Middle School in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. I am the oldest of 3 children and my grandparents are a large part of my life, especially my grandmas. My grandparents have a total of 18 grandkids. All of my grandparents grew up in the 1950's.

I personally love all the eras aesthetics like the 80's are super neon, and the 70's and 60's had a hippie and disco feel. The 50's remind me of super cute diners, poodle skirts, pin curls, and those types of things. I feel like that’s the basic “50's aesthetic”. It was so interesting going through the 50's fashion, hairstyles, and homes and seeing how much things have changed.

I have a passion for design and art, which is why I enjoy the different aesthetic of the eras. In my free time, I love to paint, draw, sew, crochet, create digital art, and basically anything crafty. Procreate is my favorite app for creating digital art and is what I used to make the art for this website. All art you see on this site was actually drawn by me with the use of my iPad and Apple Pen.

When I grow up I would like to be a fashion designer. My grandma taught me how to sew and I also enjoy doing that in my free time. Both of my grandmas are very creative and that has inspired me to learn many ways to create art. I really like web design, because it is another way to use color, graphics, and showcase my artistic abilities.
