Caption Three

The great thing about humans is that we evolve, almost always for the better. An example of this would be the incredible inventions mankind has created, and will continue to create. It was in 1908 when the Model T was made in masses. It was the newest, most unimaginable invention at the time. Now, Tesla has taken the title. What was once thought to be brilliant, cutting-edge technology, decades later seems inefficient and outdated.

From “To Communicate” to “To Entertain”

There are many advancements that have occurred to technology. Some can be good while others can be the opposite. The phone has advanced a lot in its developmental history. The phone has undergone many stages like that of the telephone and the flip phone all the way to the Apple® iPhone . Before phones were made the only form of communication was through letters or notes that would take days, or even months to be sent. The first phones were merely used for communication, or to urgently communicate with someone. Afterwards phones became a part of living essentials. Phones like the ones we know today have advanced so much that you not only use them for communication purposes but for entertainment. Whether you spend 3 hours of your screen time watching Netflix or playing Candy Crush. This can have negative and positive impacts. The positive side is that it provides a reliable and steady form of communication. The negative is that it can have harmful impacts on humans. According to Eyesafe.com, screen times have spiked to over 13 hours a day because of COVID-19 .

From “Typewriters” to “Computers”

Like the phone and cars, another object that has tremendously grown over its years is a computer. Computers are used everyday, if it be to create a PowerPoint or to upload a new YouTube video. However, back in the day, when the typewriter was created it was easily the biggest and best invention in history, because it was more “efficient” than hand writing. Today we have computers that can be used with the tip of your finger. We also have technologies to transform devices like iPads into a makeshift computer. With this technology we are able to get anywhere being anywhere.
