Saint Mary was God-fearing and dedicated herself to be a servant of the Lord. Her life before the birth of Jesus demonstrated that she was worthy to bear the Son of God.
After Jesus's birth, Saint Mary was a loving mother while still being faithful to God, even though she went through many tribulations in life. She lived a righteous life until her dormition. Saint Mary has taught us all how to live a true Christian life.
