I have always had compassion for helping others. Every time I see others in need I want to help them. When I am driving with my mom, and there is someone asking for money, I ask my mom to stop so I can give them money, when I have it. My mom is the same way, maybe I got this compassion from her. Once while driving with my mom, there was a man on the street asking for money, I gave him some money and he said to me "Thank you young lady stay in school and don't talk to boys" I still remember those words. I don't know what caused him to be on the street. I just know that I was able to help him that day. I plan on helping at a soup kitchen when I get older. Right now I am not old enough.
