My great-grandma with my dad when she visited America
My great-grandma inspires me because of all the brave things that she has done. When her mom died, and her dad left her to her aunt and uncle, she didn't give up. When her husband died and she had to raise my grandpa on her own she still didn't give up.
She did whatever she could in those times to make things better. She started a business all by herself. For her to be a woman and support my grandpa by making money from her own business was uncommon, because women weren't normally educated to have a job other than a housewife.
She wanted her kids and grandkids to be educated. She continued working even as she got older to make extra money, so my dad and aunts could go to a good school. She believed in education and she made it happen.
My great-grandma was a leader. She was appointed village president. She lead the chit fund and solved people's problems. She inspires me to take charge and be a leader.
My great-grandma is a big inspiration. She has done so many brave, inspiring things. She inspires me to be strong in tough times and be a leader.
