Power

As I stated in the previous page, power is based on strength. Power is how you affect people, it’s the potential you have to change their lives. My power is curiosity, and my curiosity prefers the complexity of STEM subjects. This means that I help people the best through sharing my curiosity with them, or using my curiosity and the determination that comes with it to.

My favorite way to empower others is to share my power with them. I think this is done best through teaching. I try to show everyone I meet my interests, and how my curiosity leads me through life. The best way to help people is to teach them, and teaching people to do what makes them happy and what they love is what I like to do. Sharing my interests with like-minded others not only strengthens my power, but it helps others, too. A way to think of this sharing of interests is a superhero team. The Avengers all work together to solve issues, but each team member alone has flaws that will eventually cause them more harm than good. When the Avengers band together, they can explore uncharted territory and defeat much more than any ever could separately. The best way for me to empower and help others is to form a team of like minded individuals, so that we can all help each other become much stronger and powerful rather than each of us only become a little stronger.

I love to show those with the potential to be great the path to finding what they love to do, what they’re strong in. When I was in middle school, I went with a group of students from my school to an engineering fair at a local elementary school, and helped present STEM ideas and projects to students. This was one of my favorite experiences in regards to using my power for the good of others, as I could show younger children their options in doing what they wanted to do. Spreading ideas and my power of curiosity is something that makes me happy. I want to see what our future will be like if we have people who are doing what they love in it.
