We both played chess quite frequently when we were younger, and we were pretty good at it. As we grew older, technology became a larger part of our lives, and games of chess were replaced by games of Candy Crush. Staying away from unnecessary digital technology usage for a week would allow us to bring back our old hobby and work our brains once again.

"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." - Dr. Seuss.

Reading has been one of our oldest hobbies and is sure to last much longer as well. We equally love a cozy classic novel and an enlightening nonfiction text. With digital technology's temptations removed, it has served as a rewarding form of entertainment, and we hope to read more in the years to come!

Perhaps the most important part of our lives right now is high school - maintaining a solid GPA with many AP classes and standardized tests to keep on our plate. It can be stressful at times, but we found that time management plays a large role in how efficient you can get homework done and study for extracurricular subjects as well. Time management is all about maximizing work and minimizing distractions. Our largest distraction would definitely have to be digital technology. By reducing digital technology to a reasonable amount, we set aside more time to completely focus on studying.
