Catnip Treats

This recipe is to get your cats a little more of a boost. Combining your cat’s favorite dry food and drink with a little hint of energy will have your cats bouncing around and ready to play! Within 25 minutes you could have a delicious and inexpensive treat for your furry friend to enjoy. All cat safe ingredients.


  • ½ cup dry cat food
  • ¼ cup of milk
  • 3 tablespoons of catnip

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Mix dry food and milk in a bowl
  3. Sprinkle the cat nip over the top
  4. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.

There is a few things that you need to remember when picking out treats for your cats. They can be anything, but when you are getting them, make sure you are gettong the ones that are right for them. Here are a few helpful tips:
Avoid people food, fresh tuna and small amounts of cheese can do good things for your cat, but should be a very minimal part of your cats diet, also try to avoid toxic food such as raisons and grapes. Always remember that overweight cats need extra care, and that looking for "low fat" food and treats may be recommended. But, when looking for these foods, do not compromise on the things your cat needs and enjoys. Cat Nip is a very good low calorie food that cats will enjoy!
