For our cat toy, we fabricated a little heart attached to a braided rope. To construct the heart, we used red thread, a red t-shirt, a piece of filling, and string for the rope. We made the heart relatively small taking note that most cats have smaller mouths. We traced a heart onto the t-shirt and cut it out. We basically replicated the dog bone onto our cat toy, just a different size and shape. The process of sewing and stuffing it was the same, but Cece braided a rope to hang the heart on. Cece’s sister brought her cat over to play with our toy. Onyx loved the toy and played with it continuously.
