To put these toys to good use, we gave the bone to Cece’s neighbor’s dog and the heart rope to Cece’s sister’s cat. We decided to give Missy the dog toy because she came from a bad home and has never had an experience with a real toy to play with. She loved it! Giving the heart rope toy to Onyx was really cool because she was rescued from underneath an air conditioner in someone’s backyard. Onyx is now more familiar with human contact so she had a great time playing with the toy. This opportunity has shown us what we can do for our animals in such an easy way. By doing this these pets were happy and loved playing with these toys, even though they were homemade.
