We created a red bone for Cece’s neighbor’s dog. To make the bone, we used red thread, a red t-shirt, some fluffy filling, and a squeaker. First we thought about the size of the dog and took that into consideration as we traced the toy onto the shirt. After it was traced, we cut it out and lined the sides up. We took the needle and sewed the toy inside out all the way until there was a small opening and then flipped it back to the outside fabric. We then took the fluffy filling, including the squeaker, and cut up small pieces and put them into the toy. As soon as the toy was all sewed up we made sure there were no loose edges and gave it to Cece’s neighbor’s dog. She was excited right away and wouldn’t take it out of her mouth!
