Career Technology Foundation Jada and Hannah 2014	In this class we learned the basic rules and etiquettes of applying for a job and finding a career path. We made resumes and had fake job interviews in class to prepare for the real thing. We also made a portfolio on weebly that showcased our skills and abilites.	Microsoft Word Microsoft Powerpoint

Introduction to Web Design Jada and Hannah 2015	In this class we learned how to code a wesbite and render photos with Photoshop. We were given a theme and then had to decide what our websites would be about. This class takes a lot of pateince and time management but it's definitely worth it.	Notepad++ Adobe Photoshop Elements
Advanced Web Design Jada and Hannah 2016/2017	This class was similar to the above description of "Intro to Web Design," but more innovative and independent. Website History

Reflection

We are very glad we got the opportunity to enter the MCWT Competition again. This year we learned external CSS which allowed us to style our website in a simple and more convenient way. We also learned how difficult it is to get such a big project done between two girls with very busy schedules that do not always align.

During the process of building a website there are many ups and downs involved. For example, being in the advanced category meant we had to do a lot of problem solving by ourselves. Problem solving was super frustrating sometimes, especially on a time crunch. Although this was frustrating, problem solving helped us learn more than someone telling us what to do.

During the course of the class we were visited by a professional web designer. It was very helpful getting to ask a professional about the process of building a website and her opinions on best practices when designing a website. It was also nice to ask questions when something did not work the way we wanted it to if we could not figure it out ourselves.
