Athena is a goddess of many things such as wisdom, courage, inspiration, civilization, law and justice, arts and crafts, and skill. Her father Zeus, gave birth to her when Zeus had a very big headache and she sprang fully grown and clothed with armor. There’s a rumor about her mother, that Zeus lay with Metis who is the goddess of crafty thought and wisdom, and that he swallowed her because he was afraid she will give birth to a child more powerful than him if the child was a boy from a prophecy he heard. Athena helps many people through her years, including Bellerophon, Perseus, Cadmus, Odysseus, Heracles, and Jason.
Wisdom ties along with Web Design, not many girls have the type of experience working with coding or graphic so having this class provides a good experience for me. Taking this class gives me a different kind of knowledge, working with coding makes me feel powerful, especially when I figure something out on my own. Knowing coding also makes me feel different and special. These days not many people know anything about coding, and like Athena she always helped people and I enjoy helping other people who don’t know anything about coding and helping other students who take this class because it makes me feel smart and seem interesting.
