Image: Me with cookies as eyes My name is Hannah Watkins. I am a sophomore at Lake Shore High School. School and my grades are very important to me, I do my best to keep my grades the best I know they can be. Right now I have 4.0 grade point average. My favorite classes in school are math and science.

Outside of school I enjoy spending my time relaxing with my friends and big family. Other hobbies I enjoy include photography and reading. In the future I hope to be a Veterinarian Technician and possibly do photography on the side. I love all animals and always have, when I was younger I wanted to be a Vet.

Intro to Web Design
Description of Class In career tech I explored careers I was interested in and learned about how to act while working and how to manage money. I made a professional Weebly website. Within the website I made a resume and cover letter with Microsoft Word. In web design we coded a website with Notepad++. We were able to enter our website into the MCWT web design contest, the theme was food. Also in the class we learned several Photoshop lessons.

Image: Voting on cookies during lunch I am very glad I took Web Design this year and had an opportunity to enter the MCWT Web Design contest. The MCWT Contest is great for anyone entering, there are many opportunities for the girls who entered, and more importantly the ones who win. I learned a lot about food, web design, coding, and Photoshop.

There were a lot of ups and down while making this website. Creating a website was very stressful, however, I enjoyed it and had a lot of fun. As we kept working on our websites I loved watching the progress of everyone's websites.

I had a great time baking all the cookies and having friends and other classmates vote on them during lunch. Teachers and other administration also came up to taste test the cookies.

Although, everyone was confused how cookies had to do with web design they were just glad they could eat delcious cookies for free!
