Also known as snip doodles or cinnamon sugar cookies, snicker doodle cookies are my second choice of cookies to test. Snicker doodle cookies are not very common cookies; they are just sugar cookies rolled in cinnamon sugar.
It is unknown how snicker doodles got their name, they have been around since the late 1800s. My favorite cookies to make and eat are snicker doodles. I used to always get a tub of snicker doodles when we had cookie orders in elementary and middle school. When we stopped getting tubs of snicker doodles I still wanted them so I decided to make them one day and they were delicious. Ever since then I always make them for occasions and sometimes just to eat them. 
I had people vote for which type of snicker doodle cookie they liked better during lunch, homemade or store bought.
Kroger doesn't make snicker doodle cookies in their bakery like they do with chocolate chip and peanut butter. I ran into a problem because I couldn't find them in stores. Then I came across snicker doodle like cookies at Meijer from the brand, "Archway." Not only did everyone enjoy eating free cookies at lunch, I recieved feedback to help me build this website. 62 people taste tested and voted on the snicker doodle cookies. Out of everyone that tried the cookies 51 people said they liked the homemade snicker doodle cookies better. Only 11 people said enoyed the store bought cookies better. In the future if you want to make snicker doodle cookies you should take the time making them yourself. You can even use the powerpoint at the bottom of this page to teach you how. By making your own instead of buying snicker doodle cookies from the store everyone will enjoy much more.
